Blog Making Technology work for you

Making Technology work for YOU

I don’t know about you, but with everything going on at work, sometimes the last thing I want to do is get on social media, schedule appointments, or send out an email. The good news is with all the technology we have these days, “there’s an app for that”.

Throughout my time as a Virtual Assistant, I have tried and
tested many apps/tools to help me free up my time and I want to share with you
the 3 I have found most helpful.

Let’s dive right in!.

Social Media Scheduling Tools

We have all been there, we intended to get on Social Media for 10 minutes, and suddenly it’s been 2 hours. One way to avoid this is to use a scheduling tool for your social media posts.

Loomly also has the ability to connect to Instagram…which is Huge!

With Loomly you can:

Create all of your posts across social media platforms in one place

Get post ideas and prompts from Loomly

Invite others to collaborate, review, and approve your posts

Schedule your posts based on popular times for user engagement on each platform

Interact and respond to comments right from your Loomly platform

You can link it to Instagram so you get automatic publishing and not push notifications

What this means for you is that you don’t have to worry about
posting content every day! Simply schedule your posts and get alerted through
Loomly if someone likes or comments on your post. Finally, you only need to log
into ONE platform!!

Email Campaign Platforms

I have mentioned getting an email campaign platform before.
That’s because building an email list is extremely important for your business.
Not only that, it’s an easy way to send bulk emails that look nice and are
personalized.

My favorite platform is Constant Contact.

Individualize each email

Email templates you can customize

Schedule Emails for a future date

Email contacts stored in one place so you never have to worry about losing them if you switch email platforms

If you know you need to send an important email, but maybe it’s later in the evening or on a weekend, you can schedule it through Constant Contact and rest assured it will be delivered and look impressive. You can also get a free 60 day trial, which is a great way to try it before you buy it!

I do want to note that I’m a Constant Contact Partner, so I earn
commission if you sign up through my link. After extensive research, this is
the platform I believe it the best!

Meeting Scheduler

The ability to have a program schedule meetings for you seems to good to be true, but I assure you it is not. Calendly is a platform that allows you to simply send a link to anyone you would like to schedule time with, and watch your calendar fill up without extra work on your end.

This platform allows you to:

Choose your available times for meetings

Choose the length of the meeting (15 minutes, 45 minutes, 60 minutes)

Simply send a link for scheduling

Link to your website

Link to payment

Link to zoom

Calendly does have a free version, which can work for some, but the paid version gives you more bang for your buck.
